Hi Folks, Thanks for checking out my page, and this my first post. I just wanted to let you know that, throughout this wonderfully busy year for Vortex, I am working on a solo album of easy listening, jazzy, swing type tracks. Although I have done many sessions in the studio, Solo and in Bands, this will be my first Solo release.

The concept of the Album was suggested by my good friend Gillian Duncan (Redbarn Studios) after taking part in vocal sessions for a fabulous songwriter Alan Tomkinson who has worked with Eartha Kitt and Brian Epstein. During the sessions I recorded 4 tracks and had a fantastic and challenging time doing them. Alan has written a number of brilliant songs and Gillian suggested that I tackle an Album full of them. After receiving some demo's from Alan I have decided to go full steam ahead and record that very album. I started recording in March and hope to spend some time during the first week of June in Redbarn Studios working on some more. There are no plans on release dates, track listings etc as yet but I will keep you updated as we progress. I will post some clips soon, so you can have a sneak peek of what is to come.
