Hows it Going? (August 15, 2008)
Hey Folks,
I hope you are well. Its update time again! Things are still as busy as ever in the midst of the Vortex experience. We are gathering quite a following as we do the rounds and it is so nice to meet so many of you and look forward to seeing you all again soon as well as meeting new friends along the way.
Time to practice is a luxury we cannot afford much at the moment so most of our practice is live on stage. We can however confirm that in the coming weeks you will here some new songs from us which we have had time to run through. These are: Beautiful Day, You're All I Have, Dakota and Valerie (which we have had many requests for).
The Elton John Show is back on the cards. We have included some more Elton Numbers in our normal set and cannot wait to bring you a whole spectacular night of his music. We are looking for a catchy title for this show and would like to hear your thoughts. We have an email address specifically for this show so please give us your views, whether it be about show names, songs you would like to see included, the costume that most says Elton to you. Anything at all that you feel will help us. Please send your ideas to still.standing@rocketmail.com.
That about brings us up-to-date for the time being. Better go and get ready for the start of a weekend full of performances. Catch you soon.
